But you missed the most important point. MOPP levels arent for complete protection (except 4), they are simply to shorten the amount of time it takes to get to level 4. If you think MOPP levels 0-3 will save your ass in a bio/chem attack, you're silly. Only MOPP level 4 is a truly effective defense, and even then, nothing is a guarentee.

Like I said, at Level 1, those guys are fine.

MOPP Level 0 -- None of the protective clothing and equipment is worn, but it is readily available.
MOPP Level 1 -- The overgarment and helmet cover are worn.
MOPP Level 2 -- Overboots are added.
MOPP Level 3 -- Chemical protective mask and hood are added. At this point personnel are completely encapsulated.
MOPP Level 4 -- Butyl rubber gloves are added.

I would have liked to have seen you tell the NCO's in my division they couldnt carry a 203.

But the point was they are in wet weather gear, not NBC gear and they are making no move to assume MOPP 4. The thing about telling your NCO's they can't carry a 203, I'll go do that now.
