Hard clay with light dirt on top

man, that sounds like a blast. in a barn. covered from weather, but plenty of ventilation, i would guess. we should all be so lucky. I run cut Panther Chameleons and Panther KD2s on surfaces a bit softer than what you are describing. they both hook up very well in the TX red dirt...

    Buggy Tires

tapping the rims will certainly fix your issue. however, the new trend seems to be drilling small holes in the rubber of the tires rather than the inside of the rims. personally, i've always drilled the rims, but the justification for drilling the tires is that "if" water does satuate the...

    Temp Guns?

I don't think they are water proof!! just because I have too: remember not to tune to a temperature. tune for performance, sight, sound, feel, etc. and keep temps in mind for longevity. I like my Raytek Mini Temp. also works in the kitchen. wiita

    Polishing

nice work diver. that's looks really slick. i love shiney stuff!! just wanted to add the ghetto version of strip and polish. EZ off over cleaner Mother's mag polish rags and elbow grease. not a reflective luster, but with the dremel and some time, it can be. wiita

why doesn't hpi have a buggy?

Traxxas Buggy ok, ok..so it doesn't fit on the track, but it's a buggy nonetheless. I have no opinion on HPI..never had one. i'd lean toward the fact that both American companies use their own engines. Neither of which have the ability to power an 8th scale buggy. Funny that nearly all...

    Silicone diff oil changeout

yes, that is a great resource for Storm owners. It's great to find guides like that on the net that aren't full of opinions and useless writeups "just the facts". My Ofna has decent schematics, but I end up makin my own step by step :loser: good diff oil info 100,000 rocks and watch out...

    Servo Mount

The Storm manual does show that the servo's are mounted under the radio tray. i would think this method removes the use and functionality of the rubber standoffs. there is no flex at the servo mounting tabs. the pads mounted on top of the radio tray allow the servo a little play when tweaked...
