i see your point with the extras. i have bought used plenty of times, but have had better luck with new stuff. i would try to wheel and deal with the guy if you really want it. explain the facts about buying used nitros and the amount of time it has, then kindly give him links to other t-max's...
clay tracks are always better as far as maintonance. but they are more expensive. i would love to see an astro turf track. maintonance free and no wash out/ruts. if you ever decide to take down the clay track you'll have to remove it all couse you wont have any grass. you can buy astro turf...
any time you buy a nitro, consider doing a motor swap. specially at 4 gallons. it does look like a clean rig. he mentions alot of parts, but all i see is a stock t-max, so its hard to say. that kit brand new cost $379.00, then you can add the hop-ups as you like, alot of that stuff you'll probly...
your pretty dedicated to that hat. is it the only one you have? i go thru hats alot, so i would have just went inside to get another one. so... you ran 3 blocks.. for a hat? why?
you fell for the "2.5 tanks" trick?? who spends $650 on an rc truck, and drives it for 12 minutes? looks like the front right shock is a little....bent? good luck, hopefully you find a radio for it since it didnt come with one, and i like the t-max. looks pretty killer
for me its largescale. seems to be getting more and more popular(and affordable) but the corr and short course trucks are really taking over the track. rockcrawlers are pretty addicting, I'm driving mine up the side of the couch and soon to be going over my sleeping wife.. this should be fun...
well, the guy probly made a mistake with the tranny thing, so that leads me to believe he has no frekin idea what he is talking about. that also makes me think he can't tune the motor, so that also meen he probly over heated the mill, and better yet, he probly didnt even know, becouse i bet he...
check your tune. when the tank gets low it runs leaner, so the rpms are going up allowing it to shift. if your motor isnt reaching a high enough rpm, it wont shift. if your tune is "spot on", then there should be the shift point adjustment somwhere by the tranny(i dont have an lst)
my father in law has the tom-tom. he (thinks) he knows everything and swears its better then my magellan, but i think my screen is better and its damn accurate the battery will also last a while. i use it to do estimates and get me from job site to job site. i noticed the tom-tom takes a minute...
ok, just read a thread about lexan, flat finish, and krylon, didnt want to high-jack, so i'll start my own..
can you really paint a lexan shell using krylon? and wich krylon paint. they have "for plastic" and "outdoor spaces".. for those that have used it, does it hold up better or about the...
i think it would make a decant project as long as its not completly butchered. just expect to shell some extra money for parts and stuff. if your not ready now, just shelf it and wait for the winter time. i wouldnt worry so much about parts. they are all over the place. i bet it would be a cool...
