You will have to rotate the motor 90* or notch the body for the wires if you have an ERBE (I notched the body). For the 3.3 just line up a new hole for the motor.
I chose 8T body for the ERBE because it was narrow...
Nothing fancy fabout the paint job but I like my Truggy Losi 8T 2.0 body that I modded for my ERBE. Fade to almost black with tinted windows. It started raning so I set it up for the street.
No videos yet. I've melted 2 spur/slippers figuring out the spring tension and I'm working on a slight torque steer issue. It drifts slightly during hard acceleration. I can only work on it as time allows.
Thanks Fatcat1.
The 2200's I wanted to use are too long @ 105mm. 101mm is about as long as they can be without forcing them into the box. I have a few Hyperion lipos which are great batteries.
Here's the complete Hyperion line if anyone is interested...
The Thunder Power 2250mah 2s Pro Power 45c lipos work with little modding. Some careful wiring placement along with rerouting the balancing taps so all wiring exits at the same point. They now fit perfectly. I always tape the lables back on so I can remember which batteries they are.
These...
I found someone with design knowledge and equipment to cut a cf chassis. He took my old chassis and said he'd let me know. I'll let you guys know if it materializes.
The 3G's are the highest v and lowest ir 3s I have been able to push into the battery boxes (and I mean push). The TP's should should better. My TP's on order are 2s 2250mah Pro power 45/90c. The Pro Power series are supposed to have the lowest internal resistance in their lineup. I will have...
This is the Hyperion 3s 1600mah VX 35c. They fit but its a tight squeeze. With the battery doors on they do not bow as much and the doors do close. The blue plastic caps Hyperion puts on the ends of their lipos is what makes them fit so tight. I have a pair on their 3rd charge. I'll be...
Only 4s Rob. 6 would destroy it. I ordered a pair of TP Pro Power 2s 45c lipos for it. This weekend I'm wiring up an Eagle Tree V3 E-Logger to see how volts/amps/watts this this setup will draw. I also ordered the optical rpm sensor too.

I hear good things about this lipo: http://cgi.ebay.com/TRAXXAS-1-16-VXL-EREVO-E-REVO-SLASH-2450mah-LIPO-50-70C-/190391400509?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5436383d
Or the Maxamps mainstay: http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=Lipo-2200-74-ERevo-Pair&cat=221...
I'd would consider trading it for those green tennies we were looking at the other day.:whhooo:
Took it for a short spin in the court and man-o-man its as smooth as silk.
Even with a pair of Hyperion VX 3s the CD took most of the wheelies away which made it very contollable (enjoyable)...
Lipo chargers are not really expesive as hamz stated. Over time you will end up with several batteries. I cheap or knock off charger will end up costing you much more than the price of the charger if you go the lipo route.
I have some experience in destroying perfectly good lipo cells. :) I...
All of the chargers we have linked to will charge lipos. Just pick a high "C" rating and a good charger/balancer keep you batteries in good shape. You will also want a lipo storage /charging bag and maybe a nice clay pot like I use (just in case).
Rolex has a great thread stickied here...
No problem. I found this out a few months ago. Many poeple swear by that charger. I was going to buy it until I read some data made public by some of the flyers. They were finding cells out of balance enough to shorten battery life. Wether Venom is included wasn't stated but the chagers are...
