You want to argue with that? Read ALL the forum rules.


Any further discussion on why the staff does or doesn't do what you want will lead to a time out for you.

Make note that anyone who has a problem with the staff also has all of the long term members against them also.

No, he called you out because using a false account is lying, and lying is immoral. And in most of our minds, bumping your own item up is disrespectful to everyone else who is placing honest bids. So, you're contradicting yourself at this point.

I'm getting a headache from you guys who can't understand basic comprehension, i've never bid on my own items and don't plan too. The only thing I said I might do is charge more for shipping than it cost and the bidder can bid accordingly if they choose to bid. As far as lying goes? I'm one of the most honest people you'll ever meet. I will bet my life that everyone in this thread lies more on a daily basis than i've lied in the last 5 years. That's a promise!

I read just fine, aced all my college English courses actually. I was simply referring to the fact you said you had used the fee avoidance by selling a $25 item and charging $75 shipping, which doesn't give the buyer full Paypal protection as mentioned. And also that you may do other things that were against ebay policy in the future, but you weren't sure as you couldn't predict the future, after you brought up morals and respect.

Everyone has different opinions on what is morally correct and what isn't. My opinion is that those things are not morally correct, and it's dishonest if people aren't aware that only their $25 purchase is protected, and not their $75 for shipping. Again, this is my opinion on what's right and wrong, and so far, in 36 years, it hasn't steered me wrong yet.
