That's going to be one awesome rig for sure!

Have fun!

My MT410 went together really smoothly, so I doubt you'll have any trouble.

I've got one on pre-order from amain!
First tekno kit, very excited!
Will have to sell at least one of my other trucks to justify though :(

I'm confused. This is a new release?
Let me get this straight.
SCT410.3 was the OG, well not really, but the one before the new SL.
Than the SCT410 SL (Super Light-Weight)
Now the SCT410 2.0.

Now, which one, for comp 4wd sct, mostly indoor carpet, some indoor dirt here and there, and some lightly bashing. 🤔
600$ is out of my price range. if it wasn't, id hve a butt ton of 'um
470 from AMain. Most race grade 1/10 kits are always in the 700 dollar price range, but they always down it to around 400, 300 ect. Got my B74.1 on black friday last year for 300 even. Now, MSRP is 500, but now it's on sale for 350. (or MAP price) Teknos are the most pricey. The only brand that is above the 500 dollar range for 1/10 is Xray. Because it's Xray, which is owned by Hudy, and they always overprice their stuff. Even their storage and hauler bags are overpriced.

Back to my original question. The SL is on backorder from AMain, and is about 20 dollars cheaper than the new 2.0

Oh. Forgot about that. Thought you were talking about the kit/roller price. You can always use electronics you already have, or basher type electronics. If I were to get a new car, id use what I have first, and then upgrade to higher grade electronics.

My B74 build:
Kit - 300
ESC/Motor combo - 260
Wheels / Tires - 60
Servo - 90
Transponder - 100ish , but currently using a loaner from my uncle
New batteries from CNHL - 75 for a pair - old Maclan packs were 80 used.
Extra parts bag - 100

Currently all of that added together is about 900 bucks, lets add another 200 for extras. So about 1200 bucks. I could had save a couple bucks and went with a basic Justock esc since I'm only running spec 13.5, but I wanted the fancy and new stuff.

Don't forget my Mini B build which is probably over 400 bucks currently.

So in all, me and my dad combined are about 5k or more deep into the hobby, which I started in 2020. Now I just got to get the money to pay down my AMain account. (Don't forget to add track fees, that must be alot since last year) I can ramble on about the price of everything for days, but lets get back to the main post. Lol

I've already got a body, electronics and tires/wheels that were slated for one of my other trucks. They are now going towards the 2.0 kit. I've been waiting for a 410.3 to come up on ebay for a while, but this new kit got my money instead!

I'm curious... have to go look to see the differences between the SL and the dot 2.

I like the side-guards and the enclosed pinion/spur on the dot 2 much better than the setup on the SL. ]

What motor/esc are you planning to run?

There never was a SCT410.2
The SCT410.3 is discontinued now and the SCT410 2.0 is taking it's place. The SCT410 2.0 and SCT410SL are being sold side by side.

Well I've been waiting for an sct in the Tekno flavor…….. might have to grab someone’s eBay deal on an older one since this is out! Goodbye losi22s, you will help fund this mofo right here!!

Mine shipped yesterday!
I’m legitimately jealous right now.

So it can handle 1/8th power intended for the truggy and mt chassis……..very interesting. This thing is going to be a beastly nut on wheels.

I've got a new HW 140a max10 g2 combo with a 3665 3200kv motor that ill put in this kit. Hopefully that will work well on my fairly small dirt track on 2s.
I havent seen anything yet about prefered servo size in this kit. As in standard or low profile.

That’s a perfect fit for this type of truck, I have that in my 2wd losi (the 22s) and it rips! It’s a bit over powered for 2wd I think. So a 4wd tank like the Tekno would appreciate every kv from that one, and I think you have room to go 3S because I often use 3S with that combo.
but it’s also built for say….. a 40mm sized can…..

I have the same combo, but with the 3665 4000kv motor, in my SCT410. I can't say enough good things about it. I think those EZRun G2/G3 combos are the perfect balance for those who want a lower budget sensored setup. The 4000kv is a bit over the top for my needs as I have to run the motor at 80% to keep the things usable.
