Picked up a new toy:


A new Twin Hammers! Also picked up a 3500kV motor for it. Now to just go through it and tighten and Loctite everything.

Seriously considering some maximizer 3.2 bead lock wheels, but I'm not sure what tires to order with them. Mainly cause I have no idea what tires would fit on them.

Would all the proline 3.8 traxxas style bead cit them?

The 2.2 wheels need 2.2 tires, not the bigger 3.8. The 2.2 fits the mERV and the 3.8 fits the Revo 3.3.

You're going to need 3.2 tires for those wheels, none of the 3.8 tires will fit. The original Maxx trucks and the Savages used 3.2 tires.

Yup, a little more research and I figured it out. Problem is there almost nothing out there for 3.2 wheels anymore.
