They are fine. They have my parents whole upstairs to run around and a fenced in dog yard behind the pool.

Sheetrock is done, cabinets are in the process of being installed. All doors and security door jams are at the house but not installed yet. Floors are ordered and flooring guy is ready to go as soon as it hits the freight place.

It was down and gone within 48 hours. And mosquitoes? Lol. This is south Louisiana. They are here no matter what.

Mosquitoes aren't too bad there. I've seen some when visiting Wisconsin that were big enough to carry away small children.
I can vividly remember seeing the mosquitoes in that part of the country for the first time. I saw two baby mosquitoes using lightning bugs as batons to guide the bigger mosquitoes towards people to feast on. We had a truck that came though every night in TX, fogging for mosquitoes.
In Louisiana, the mosquito is the state bird.

Actually it's Wisconsin's. Trust me, I spent most of summers there when i was growing up.
My mistake. It's the Alligator that's Louisiana's state bird.
I sincerely hope this hurricane crap i see on the news isn't re-opening your wounds there.

No. We are good with the hurricane. Newest problem at the house, tile in the kitchen and dining room apparently got water under it and mold has started to grow in. So it's a step forward now 3-4 steps back.
That sucks! Hang in there Bro - the sun will shine again soon!!

It has been a VERY long road but we started moving back in this past weekend. Bills so far have been $78,000. I've only gotten $25,000 from insurance so far and am waiting on Wells Fargo to get their BS together and give me some money that they owe me. This weekend alone was $11,000 out of pocket for a mattress set, new gun safe and appliances. After three months its great to be back in my own place even if its like camping indoors.
Let me be the first to say, "Welcome home, James, welcome home."
