Hey everyone! I'm just wondering which nitro engine will be the fastest in a kyosho inferno us sports. I'm looking for speed (maybe 45+ MPH) Every thing will be stock from the buggyhttp://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/detail.html?product_id=100411
so what engine from this list will be that fastest or will make this buggy over 45MPH

If you can number each engine from best to least(1 2 3) That would be GREAT!! THANKS!:D

I don't know much about buggies but you'll want the most powerful, reliable engine with a taller gear. Some engines do rev higher but you may not notice a speed difference until you gear up.

Sorry but what does gear it up mean? does it mean you have to put on a spur gear and clutch. If so i have a 10 tooth clutch bell and a 53 tooth spur gear.:D

Get the .21 it will have plenty power to pull a taller gearing, and it will rev higher than the other two as well.

Taller gearing is when you go up in teeth on the bell/pinion and down on the spur gear, giving you better top speed but slower acceleration.

Lol thanks. I was hoping you said that. The only reason is because it is cheap =)
Also do you think it will be going faster than the stock engine or over the speeds of 45 MPH +?:\

The stock engine is not very impressive IMO, The Kyosho GX engines I've seen run were weak and hard to tune.

Remember to get an engine mount for your new engine, I'm pretty sure the RTR engine mounts directly to the chassis.

#1 definitely, out of those three choices anyways.

Thanks scrogg! Most likely i will get that engine=)
