Do they have to be 2.2"? What size hex or are they a pin type wheel?
I run a set of duratrax faze MT's on my eJato and they hook up really well. Far better than the 2.8 trenchers I have on the front, but considering the front is in the air 75% of the time... they don't do much anyway.
After running with the trenchers for a long time with brushless at my local skate park, which was concrete -> grass landing, I thought they gripped pretty good. But the first time I ran the truck at a grass bmx track I frequent, I found how poor the traction really was with the trenchers on the rear. The faze mt's hook up really well and so far, have held up for me for quite some time.
