Ok, here is what I would use if I were to build one. @Xraycer can chime in on this if he has any changes he would make. Keep in mind... cost is no object here. If I build this, it will take me a year to finish it more than likely.

And while there I would also grab some Deadbolt high clearance links, steering knuckles, Deadbolt drive shafts, shocks, +5mm hubs, steering link set, and the crossmember.

For steering duties, I would use the Ecopower 827, along with the Hot Racing servo mount.

You are very welcome. There are other chassis on Shapeways that are very cool. And Little Guy has an Ulta 24 chassis that is pretty epic as well. Little Guy also has portal and extended axles in the works. Very excited to try those. And moforc.com has some killer stuff as well, like a worm gear to make one of these into a 6x6 if you are feeling creative.

All in all, these trucks seem to have more mods available for them than any other RC. It is a bit overwhelming, because I could build 100 completely different trucks if I just had the funds. I am actually planning on getting pretty crazy with some builds as soon as I get caught up on a few projects.

This is a shot in the dark for me and may be a stupid question but the Stinger I ordered, can I use my spektrum TX/RX with it or do I have to find the scx24 TX/RX?

You can use your own Rx with it, or if you buy the stock Tx/Rx, you can tie the Liko Pro into it. The Liko is just an ESC, but they have made it to work either way, as a compliment to the stock system, or separate radio setup. It will not however work with the newer Rx/ESC combo that comes with the newer SCX24's, like the Gladiator. Horizon has F'd that all up now.

Shouldn't be an issue at all. Pretty much the same wheels on my Deadbolt and I have slingers on it also.

Scored a Mini T on the Bay last week cheap, showed up today and is cool as hell. Kids are happy with it. Having issues with the mini b while I'm typing this. Hope all will be resolved so we can race around the drive.
