I currently have a Traxxas E-Maxx, but i don't really like the fact that it uses two batteries, as i don't have a dual charger. Also it doesn't get very good run times. It doesn't have enough speed for me either and i don't want to spend 260 dollars on a Novak brushless system. Now I'm considering selling the E-Maxx and buying a used Revo 3.3. My first ever RC car was a nitro Savage .25 and that didn't go very well. We didn't know how to tune the engine so it got all messed up, it always stripped spur gears and to change them you had to take out the entire engine(That's why i switched over to electric). Now that I've been in hobby for a few years I'm more confident that I'd be able to handle a nitro.
So I'm wondering if the Nitro Revo would be the right truck for me? Is it easy to tune? Is the maintenance fairly easy?
Any advice would be very helpful
Thanks, Tim
