Dear All,
I have a transmitter Futaba Skysports 6, 20 years old. I will use it to operate it on a new electric plane model. Off course the transmitter doesn't receive the telemetry signal for battery voltage. If i use a receiver with telemetry signal, can I buy a separate instrument to receive and read voltage signal from the plane and can be held on hand near the transmitter ?

I think it would be smarter to buy a newer transmitter, alot has changed in 20 years

What if I can’t buy ? For some logistics reasons

Then get a loud LiPo alarm and time your flight... If you can't get a new Tx (you should). Will your new Rx work with your Tx?
