I’m posting this because I spent 4 days hunting and scrolling through various forums looking for information about this conversion and dead ended.. I cross referenced the part number of the factory manifold to find the rustler uses the same one..
You will need
1) O.S. .21 tm (for the tmax) this is for the fact that it comes with the ball end that will work for the slash throttle linkage.. if you buy the Revo swap version, you will have to purchase the ball end separately..
-part number-OSM12240
2) you will need the THS manifold for a rustler, follow the install instructions for the rustler..
-part number-144HM
3) you will want to ditch the factory resonator and pick up something better..
I opted for the Traxxas R for low end to mid range power as I use mine to run around a short course track…
The install is pretty straight forward, everything remounts the same as it came apart, the OS cylinder head is a little skinnier than the 3.3 cool head so fuel line routing to that fancy carb is better than OEM..
