This is what I decided to pick up for my basher this evening.

I think it will be something fun and interesting.

Hi craigsfocus,
Double your fun right there, but you know too, you will have to tune two engines instead of one? How much work will that be for you?

Chas

I've never seen t-max parts like that before. Definitely never saw shocks mounted to the upper arm.

First thought was t-maxx hybrid, but now not so sure. Any idea what it is?

I am not too worried about it. A little more work for more fun and it keeps my mind busy/interested.

Its a OFNA Titan Twin with twin .26 Force Motors on it. This one has Novarossi heads on it.

Ah, that's why its familiar. Is a pretty old platform, but quite a beast!

First thing I'd do is ditch those air filters for typical foam with filter oil on them.

Thats the first thing I said to myself when I was looking at it. They are on order now. I am going through it now. Its getting a Savox steering servo in it now, the previous owner bought it and never installed it. The stock OFNA servo was too weak. I wanna eventually upgrade it and make it more up-to-date.

And be care full, I think that truck designed by the past owner for onroad. Take care of the aluminum hop ups. Or minimal off road bashing. That's only what I think, enjoy your rig.

Sorry man but that is not a bashing truck. That is strictly a shelf queen! I highly doubt that truck will last 5 minutes in a true bash session.

Dont get me wrong it looks cool as hell but it is meant to do just that "look cool" you hit a big 40-50ft jump with that thing and it is game over.

Yeah I know. Its not the bashing truck that the Savage XL or the Savage X is. I could hit a few jumps with it but nothing that serious. I plan on getting a dedicated bashing truck, probably a Savage X. Its definitely not going to be a self queen though. I will do some off-roading with it

The shocks on it feel like they need a rebuild. When I press down on the truck, it kind of stays low, not much recoil. So it will only see asphalt or very light off-roading for now.

Is too bad they don't still make it. I've only seen one once in person at my LHS back in the day. Was a bit overthought build wise, but was quite a rig. That one is a top notch version for sure. May be tough finding parts for it though. Then again, might be off the shelf OFNA parts for most of the drive line will keep it going.

Found a manual for it:

Looks like you can still find some parts for it:

Thanks! I already came across those on my research. It was nice to find the manual. The way mine sits is how it came, minus the Novarossi heads. The regular Titan had the plastic bits. I do agree that the design seems a bit over thought. But thats one of the things that make it cool to me. I am going to have to watch eBay often for spare parts.

So yesterday I was at my friend's house playing with the Titan after I got it tuned and running good. Then I slammed it into the side of his house, it broke the lower A-Arm on the front right side. Oh well. I am trying to located some parts now. It was fun while it lasted.

It must have been an a-arm from integy. There aluminum is pretty brittle.

That's the downside of running alloy arms. No give at all. That's why as a basher, I like running RPM if I can on my rigs.

WIll you be able to get the threaded piece out of the arm?
