Help Identify Rear Axle/Hub Carrier

Someone is using this hub carrier on an Associated SC10, but it's not an Associated B4/T4/SC10 part. Uses 5mm axle and bearings is my best guess as a 3/16" wheel spacer won't fit on axle as shown in 2nd picture below.

If you have any clue as to what brand and platform it came from, please let me know.

I see people buying used RCs and some of the mishaps that come along with them. People do some weird things to keep their RCs up and running. I just thought there may be another possible (easy) solution, or adaptation of another platform's parts to keep the SC10 line of vehicles going for a long while yet.
