i am having trouble finding the benefit of 6wd, I'm not asking my question correctly.
whats the benefit to a 6wd? other than it looks wicked cool.

does it help with performance? i understand the principle is you've got 2 extra wheels to help dig. but does it provide a noticeable difference? or is it simply another thing? like hey i just got a cool 6wd wanna crawl it around? or is it more o man i just got a 6wd and this thing goes places nothing else has gone! it grips better?
whats the benefit?

Half of being bad a$$ is looking bad a$$, that's pretty much it. From a performance point of view a 4wd would probably be better.

Took my words exactly. It's the difference between wunning and losing in a truck pull.

There is a reason the Mars rovers are 6x6. They didn't just do that because it looks cool 😉

They will flatten out obstacles better. More grip as well. Cons would be they are longer and can't turn as sharply.

That’s pretty damn cool 😎!!!

Seems to me the benefits of 6 wheels, all wheel drive would be awesome. If the front and rear wheels move, that good. The rear of the the truck would be like an anchor. It wont go end over as easy as a standard truck. Just don't put it sideways on a hill. Top heavy. I like the 6 wheel thing. Just not enough to buy one. 🤣 I own 2 crawlers, they are both cool. 😁

A good 4x4 crawler? Traxxas sport, Axial Capra.. Just my thoughts. :thumbs-up:.

Somebody has a bad case of I've got money burning a hole in my pocket, but I can't make up my mind which cool truck to buy. 🤣
that and buyers remorse and havent even made it to the store yet omg....
I'm so nervous that I'm gonna get something and then find out id have rather gotten something else

And that is why you think about it for a couple of weeks or months, do your homework and not give into peer pressure or marketing, etc. Pick what speaks to you, and that you will really love and use.

Sometimes I get tempted to pick up something new, and then realize it's not much different than something I currently have, it's just new and shiny.

Now keep in mind, this wisdom is coming from a guy with about 25 minicrawlers! 🤣
