Sorry for coming late back to the partay, but what time and days do you guys run? I'm setting up the wife's computer tonight and would love to run on the new screen.
Edit: Nevermind, I see you guys run at midnight on Tuesday. I'll try to jump on this week.
Eesh looks like I am getting my rear handed to me again this week. I got smoked by 9 laps on the oval and 2 on Melzo.
What happened to Robnob, Kotex, savagefan, and Fateddy?
I guess that's my issue, I'm trying to run 110% all the time because I'm trying to shave at least 2 seconds off my current laptimes. I need to learn to sit back and relax and not over drive the car.
Thanks guys.
My goal tonight is to run smooth. I need to shave some serious time off my laps otherwise Candy will overtake me in points in the Oval Club.
I had another rough time last night trying to squeeze in a few runs. Boss Speed is tough. I kept getting marshalled for cutting the last corner before the finish line. There were a couple times I swore I took the corner clean. I also seem to run much better about halfway through the heat once...
There are 7 members in the RCNT Club, and 6 members in the RCNT Oval Club. Both clubs have the same members, with the exception of Rolex being MIA in the Oval Club.
Congrats AGAIN to Josh for taking the win in tonight's first heat @ Sydney. PLEASE SHARE YOUR SETUP. :)
Gabe sorry to eek you out of second place by .058 sec. I got a lucky run.
Yes you can test run the track and simulate track grip conditions in offline practice first. You can play with different settings and save them as individual files so that when you race online you can load them to your car. You cannot make individual car setting changes once you are in online...
The car doesn't seem too twitchy. I do prefer a fast turn in and hard on the throttle at corner exit.
Good luck to all. I wish I had time to practice today, probably just get to sneak a couple heats in before 11:30.
I used the shock and spring setting that Josh posted earlier. Here is the rest. Engine and pipe are on the low-mid end, same with gearing. I like the way the car handles it's my reflexes that aren't up to par.
Edit: I just checked the heat results from last night ...17s damn you are fast Josh!
Looks like Gabe is in the lead with his consistent driving. I only have time to put down two attempts tonight but I finally broke into the 19s thanks to Josh's set-up. I'm having to pit once in the 7 minute heat.
It took me forever to figure out how to take the first left after the straight...
