Radio Tray Upgrade?

So i have just got my Losi 8ight 2.0 rtr up and running and its going great. I was advised by a guy in my lhs that to preserve the life of the servos in my car I should install a rubber o-ring below the radio tray. This i intend to do but i have also just purchased the GEN III radio tray. Can anyone advise if this is difficult to install?? Your help will be much appreciated

don't be afraid to tear your car apart its part of the hobby. but no it shouldn't be difficult to install since everything on the 8ight screws to the chassis.

My biggest concern is making sure that I have the throttle and steering servos set up correctly. Is there any guidelines for this or any linmks to sites that could show me how to do this?
