Well it arrived at the LHS yesterday. You guys sure were not kidding. The compression this engine has is insane. Even with no glow plug it is difficult to turn the engine over.
I was wondering if you guys had any tips for me as far as installing the engine and breaking it in. I did a quick test fit and it looks like I won't run into too many problems. The first thing I noticed is that I will have to rotate the carb.
I have most of the stock parts from the stock Savage engine except for the bearings for the clutchbell. I also don't have the washer that goes on the outside of the clutchbell
I was talking to error401 and he suggested going to a 16t clutchbell. Any recommendations on which one I should go with?
