Brushless motors need very little if any maintanace where a brushed motor the brushes will get worn out and will need to be replaced. Brushed motors need to be kept clean to work at their best.

So you can put a brushless in any rc the has a brush motor?

I dont see why not. If you go decide to go brushless you will need to get a esc that is made for brushless motors.

BDC means Bottom Dead Center.

Just remember if it was not made for electric than fabrication will more than likely be one of your steps. Ask Sweetdiesel and his Brushless Truggy.

With brushless you get more power, less maintenance but you need to use quality batteries and a good charger to take care of your batteries...you will be disappointed with cheap 6 cell stick packs.
