We now have a dog!

My mother in law had a dachshund named Wally for almost 14 years, sadly he died about 6 months ago. She wasn't sure if she wanted another one but she heard about one that needed a new home, the original owner was mean to him and didn't want him anymore so she took him home. She likes him but I think she still misses her Wally too much to love this one that way it deserves so we took him home today.

Agreed, rescued dogs can make awesome pets with the right owner.

I wish I had the time for a dog. But with me being away for 9-12 hours 3 days a week, it just wouldn't be right to get a dog.
