Hello, been looking for about 3 weeks now for a super fast and powerful engine for my savage xl 5.9. I came across a picco.28, everyone said they were great so I went and looked for one and I couldn't find them anywhere, any ideas where I could find them?

Well, it was this one I believe:

The LRP28S3 isn't bad:

From what I've been told over the years, the LRP wasn't as "perky" as the picco. Not as much high end, but it's pretty good in my savage x with 16/47 gearing.

I have 3 of the LRP28S3's, savage-x, revo and my buggy. Rarely run the buggy, but the savage and revo get a lot of run time.

If you want stump pulling power, then maybe the LRP.32 will work:

I have one of the picco's in a drawer. Been there a few years waiting for one of my LRP's to die on me. Seems they don't die quickly.

I did find a picco boost 28:

Don't know jack about it. I couldn't find the pull-start version in stock anywhere:

So is the fastest strongest engine you know the LRP.32, no ey at the moment isn't really an issue so if there is a higher priced motor but it is way better I'll take a look. I also may be purchasing a pipe from robin l, any one know who he is, if so is he good?

Fastest/strongest, only know what I've read, never saw the LRP .32 in person. I saw an LRP30X (with the parts to make it a PS) and it was noticeably stronger than the LRP28S3. Friend of a friend put one in a LST2 and mine was in an aftershock. He was kind of new and didn't tune it right or run it in properly, at that point, my had a good 4+ gallons through it and ran like a top. I could tell his had potential, but not likely he would ever see it. The 30X was a "race" version with higher RPM's than the 28.
