I just got some progressive 2 rockers for my revo 2.5 and was wondering if it makes any difference to install them with the stock push rods instead of the steel /aluminum pushrods ( apart from the durability) since some online hobby retailers list them as required.

They aren't required, I run p3's in the back and p2's in the front with stock push rods

Any pushrods are good, but you should have the little red spacers on them.

Well, my slayer didn't come with anything like that, so Idk what it's for

Well, they have A LOT of the same parts so I basically consider it to be a revo

how much bigger is a slayer compared to a revo... about same size?

The Slayer is actually a bit smaller. It uses shorter arms to make it look more like a short course truck. The Slayer Pro is the same basic chassis as the current Revo 3.3.

The only difference that I can figure out are the A-arms, as stated, the suspension parts (obviously) and the wheels. The rest of it is basically identical. I go ordering parts on eBay for the Revo 2.5 (I have the older slayer) and they fit without a problem. I even put in the reversing tranny and the appropriate electronics boxes
