Doing what I did previous years.
But this time my lighting situation is a bit better.
Raised the ride height with 1 thick preload clip per shock. In the front I moved the shock position all the way inward on the arm, and in the rear I did the same but 1 hole out. (These are RPM arms BTW)
Put on the anaconda street tires as I used to have on my carpet tires.
For the front light. zip tied to the bumper.
Rear light is zip tied to the bumper.
The lights are adjustable from left to right but should stay on the car.
The rear light is a cheap one from harbor freight non rechargeable. The front one is rechargeable via USB-C.
I was trying to find the heavy duty LED flashlight I had last year but can't seem to find it.
Also raised the suspension so it doesn't leak and sag on the ground, as previously was the carpet setup which is a few mm's from the ground.
Used the slash as the rustler, there isn't really anywhere you can mount lights. Used to have the RPM front bumper for the rustler but where it screws in to the bulkhead, it broke.
Gonna use my 7200 SMC packs for the run time.
Using the Bomb Pop body so I can actually see it, and its beat up, and the other bodies are darker colors.
Next, gonna get my Bluetooth speaker, zip tie it on the battery strap, play some Thriller and it should be ready for Halloween on Tuesday night.
Also put the street tires on the rustler, because i know ill take it out, probably earlier in the day. \
After Halloween its back to the carpet setup since I wanna get some practice in at the local track, test n tune, and have some fun before they close up the doors. I really wanna know how ST tires will work on a SCT. I feel like its going to be more stable but we will see.
