controller not working

i have a futaba 2pl with everything charged up when i turn on the tx and the rx nothing works i can not get the servoes to do anything as far as i can tell it has to be the tx or rx or should i just get new ones i have changed the crystals any one know what i should do to find out where the problem is thank you for any help

Are the servos plugged in the right port? ARe the batteries for the RX charged? I am not sure of that particular Futaba radio but does it have more then one model it can save and run?

yes the 2pl can run 10 diff cars the servos are plugged in the the right place i found the trouble it was in the battery pack i was useing for the rx it was charged but there is something wrong with it i found this out by putting 4 double a's in it then it worked i wish i would have never sold all my rc stuff now i have to buy all new stuff i need to have on hand
