Hi guys

I've owned a nitro buggy for a while and I'm thinking of going electric

id like to know what the best rc buggy or truggy is for a max of £150.
id like it to be as fast as possible for that money and preferably 1/8 scale and lipo
i dont mind getting a kit one and buying the motor and esc seperately as long as its not all over £150. I also dont mind the car not including a transmitter and reciever as i already own one of each. Finally, i would need it to be in the UK as shipping into this country is ridiculous and takes weeks.

i know I'm not asking for much :) but any advise would be greatly appreciated

I dont think your gonna find a 1/8 scale truggy. The dont really make 1/8 scale electric Truggies at least not the major brands anyway. Youd have to convert a nitro which will run up the price even more.

As for buggies they sell the OFNA LX2E Kit which you can get for $200USD (125BPS) or the OFNA LX2E RTR is $350USD (218BPS).

For a few more bucks you can get OFNA NEXX8 KIT for $250USD (156BPS).

is it easier to get a 1/10 for £150 and if so, is it possible to get a 1/10 really fast (around 60mph is what i would like;)) for £150 if so , id get a 1/10 electric because they also allow them at my local track

Hang on Cam, I'm at work atm, and our internet webfilter is blocking me from going to those links. When I get home here in a bit I'll have a look

Going off of those websites these are the kits I would look at that are at least close to you 200BPS budget:

As for the kits that are not ready to run I would suggest this motor/ESC combo over the one you posted. Mainly because its a true 540 can motor. The one you posted is a 380 sized motor stuck in a 540 can to make it look bigger than it really is. That being said the one you posted would work in light 1/10 scale kits but its not what I would recommend.

I realize that most of these are a little more than 200 but they are good dependable name brand kits. There may be more and I'm not aware of them because I'm in the US and quite a few of the brands they have on the website I've never heard of.

I forgot to link the brushless motor/esc combo I would use for the kits.....I'll try to remember to do that when I get home.
