Ok, I need to order a couple of domain names again.

What is the BEST place to purchase them today? Last time I did was through network solutions. Well.....

Any advice is greatly appreciated.'

I have always used godaddy.com

Never had a problem and very easy to manage multiple domains.

I bought mine from networksolutions. $150.00 for ten years.

The higher expenditures seem to be incurred downstream of the domain purchase. I lucked out on my hosting. Other places charge you for registering you in their DNS servers. I called our network consultant who provides my company's backbone to the internet. "Because we're such a good customer": Free DNS registration, Free domain hosting, $7/month for a pop3 account.

Of course I don't have a high traffic site either. All the traffic is linked images from this forum.

You could buy one at the same place your buddy from Discount RC got his...Need A .Com

I understand you can get a really cheap domain there.

Uh Sky - Did you fall down the stairs or something today? lol

I think I'm going to roll with GoDaddy

I used to use Star Networks or something like that, since then I've moved all my domains to GoDaddy.com and have liked them every since.

That was just a joke, Chris. Take it as such.

Man he must have wound you up!

Joke???? Really??? lololololololololololololol

I use iPowerWeb.com. Its easy to use for beginers, so anyone can start it up.

GoDaddy is the way to go Chris. I like their new control panel to manage your domains. I just dont like going though all their upsells. Its kinda annoying, but its worth it for the price.

I don't think christian was looking for a hosting package right?

I believe he was just looking for a domain seller.

If it is hosting, that answer would all depend on what you are hosting.

No host - just buying my domains.

go daddy -- funny name, great service.

I've used them for a few domains and I have NEVER had a problem.

I now use NS exclusively.
Having used bargain companies in the past and having information lost, Domains dropped during the transfer of info when the company was sold and a few other fun issues I learned my lesson.

Do it once and do it right.
