Let us know how that engine does. I hmm'd and haw'd over that one and the OS21TM for a bit, but went with the 21TM instead in hopes it outperforms the 3.3 and 18TM by a decent amount. Wanted to stay below gear ripping power, but the 21TM already fried my trans 3 times and towards the end of the season it broke in enough to see it should perform how I want.

Still, would be nice to know more about that 28.

I love build threads and that thing looks like its gonna be nasty. Keep up the good work buddy!

I am running my own combo of steel gears in the #4909 maxx trans housing. My old tired ofna Picco .21 maxx fragged two FOC #4910 trans broke main input shaft in half on first one. The Os engines are very good engines also. My Ofnas have always been super long lasting engines though. But I will keep posting hopefully with some vids to. Honestly a 3.3 has plenty of power for about any maxx platform though. I just got tired of breaking carbs during hard bash sessions. Wish the price of the Os series engines would come down a bit. And thanks Trout just glad to have a little time to get back into my nitros. Been doing the SC electric race thing getting bored with the electric scene. Winter has finally set in here so I'm not wrenching on my stangs so putting time back into my rc hobby LOL!

I'm running the JL .28 Maxx in my revo. But i use the flywheel from my 3.3 and standard clutch. @hulkmaxx what clutch and flywheel are use using. Its a great engine btw :) You probably need to put steel grears in tranny.

Looks great man. can't wait to see the finished product

Yah I'm running steel gears. The clutch is an Integy 7075 alum clutch. Only clutch's I run on all my trucks. Been meaning to get some more pics up projects pretty much finished. I've been really busy with a vintage Rc truck, doing a kind of SC conversion to it. Plus my emaxx I have been doing some work to and I just acquired a Traxxas Summit so yep I've been real busy lol!

Awesome!....
Long time no see hulk..and olds and trout. ..and.....yes Ralph
