I really wanted to run in this but high school just started for me and I have next to no time for almost anything right now. I haven't even been able to run my trucks in a few weeks, let alone practice VRC. In a few weeks or so I hope that I will have some free time so that I can get back to how...
oh no i didnt, I'm just practicing and forgot to finish the last week. I have been really busy with school and haven't had any time to get on. I am gonna try to run all the races this week though.
So I can't change my view in the race for the club? If I can't I dont think I'm gonna be in these series because without the behind car cam I'm done. I just had to DNF my first try because of this.
I just got in a little bit of practice and messed around with some settings till I liked how it drove, but I still could like a little bit more steering.
I got my best lap so far to be a 18.7 on Halifax, and my slowest was 23.1 because of a spin out and a flip over.
that stinks man, i didnt even get to get on there in the past 3 nights but tonight I'm gonna put in a few hours, and get a car dialed in for the first run. I need to get two in actually, one for oval and one for the road courses.
Tomorrow is the first race guys. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though I only expect to come in last, or 2nd to last. I need to try and dial in a car tonight, or tomorrow after school because I have no clue what to do with any of the adjustments on them. I tried a few laps on boss speed...
Just one more question right now, how do we know what car to use? Does it change each race, or do we use whatever we want. I like using the 1/8th scale, but i dont know if it is only 1/10 or something like that. Sorry for all the question, I'm a newb in this.
In the oval series, and even the regular series, how come right before the % of grip, there is a number like 960, or 1080... What do they mean, because I see a kakegawa 960, and a kakegawa 1080. What are the differences?
Oh my gosh, i tried using the keyboard too. Wow what a difference it makes with the adapter. The oval is actually harder than it looks. Too small for 1/8th though in my opinion.
Sounds good. I'm getting my practice in today, and for the rest of the week. I think I practiced for a good hour today after school. I like the boss speed track, and cincinnati 02 track. I'm pretty good on those two.
Got my 3 tracks downloaded today so I have all of the needed tracks. I would like to run in both series this winter. Where do i sign up for the other one, a different thread?
oh I'm not gonna give up at this game. It just takes a little practice, like everything else in life. And by any chance, did you happen to steal my custom title?
Found out how to get my tracks, thanks randy! Now, is it a must to upgrade to V3.5? I have V3.2 which is what my disk says, and i was wondering if I should upgrade? there is a free download on the VRC website anyways...
Got the controller to work finally, and started some practice. WOW is this game hard, but a lot of fun. I love how it tells you to come in and re-fuel, and you can see the smoke come out of the exhaust. I just need to figure out how to use my 3 track credits.
Now, I am going to go ahead and...
Well rob told me that only the SR3520 and SR3100 rx's will work with the game! wow, i dont have either and both are $100, so i really dont know what I am going to do. Maybe pick up a cheapee 2.4 like a venom, or that orange one WoodiE gave away on here a few months ago.
Having a little bit of trouble. I got the game installed, got my account created, and plugged in my adapter and rx.
When I try to calibrate my controller right before practice, it says that its not connected. What am I not doing right?
Got the game and the adapter in today. Thanks sng! I am going to install the software, and create my account tonight so then I will ask what tracks to download. I can't wait to start racing!!!
