Can't wait to see it once you get the flatbed on it.

o yeah they were way too long, barrel alone were longer than my entire stock shock, started a return and am gonna look for the 100 mm like you suggest bro thanksThose DL shocks may be a bit long for the ecto. I am running 100mm on mine and it seems to be perfect (I'm running the same shock towers too)
Another great mod for the truck is the servo on axle, get the weight down low and off the frame
yes brother thats perfect i wanted to try out the foc i keep hearing about thats great be grabbing this next friday for sure@majin Might I suggest this for your next upgrade. QuicRun Fusion you won't regret it. @Xraycer turned me on to these. Decent price, amazing capability. You will be blown away by how slow you can crawl without losing torque. It's ESC is built in so it also frees up some space. And it's a pretty simple install.
hey @Doom! i got the 2300 kv, i just realised its brushless. wil that matter to the ecto? will it still be plug aand play or will i have to do something to the transmission to make it handle brushless?@majin Might I suggest this for your next upgrade. That Fusion motor/esc should be amazing. It has FOC technology like the Furitek ESC's, so it should be smoother and maintain constant torque at any speed. Where other ESC's would require you to give the truck more gas to go up a hill, the FOC ESC will keep the truck going the same speed no matter what the obstacle.hey @Doom! i got the 2300 kv, i just realised its brushless. wil that matter to the ecto? will it still be plug aand play or will i have to do something to the transmission to make it handle brushless?
can you point me in the right direction to learn more about upgrading something to brushless? I've done that to frankenstein, it was just a motor and esc swap and was good to go.
now I'm worried the truck will have trouble with the higher power output.
I'm probably (hopefully) just being nervous.
when i took the pic it was loose yea, i did the paper thing when i went to tighten the motor down, i had troubles as my dumbass was trying to secure the motor to the transmission screw hole, once i realized my mistake and aligned it properly i put a piece of notebook paper in and then tightend down the motor mounts and removed the paper, hopefully the mesh is correctIs your gear mesh set correctly? The easiest way to set it is get a strip of notebook paper and crush it between the gears and tighten the motor. Your mesh looks loose in the pic.
If you did the paper thing and had to rotate the gears to get the paper out you should be good.when i took the pic it was loose yea, i did the paper thing when i went to tighten the motor down, i had troubles as my dumbass was trying to secure the motor to the transmission screw hole, once i realized my mistake and aligned it properly i put a piece of notebook paper in and then tightend down the motor mounts and removed the paper, hopefully the mesh is correct
without taking it apart how would i be able to tell if i did in fact poorly mesh them?
