My racing teammate and I are fixing to put my slayer under the knife. I have plenty of nitro vehicles and want to do something different to it. The kit I've seen is strange looking. It places the motor shaft facing forward and precariously high and far on the drivers side. Not to impress ed with that idea. Anyone have a parts list that uses stock parts that would get me the motor rearward facing and centered. Plus, brake issues. Motor braking or incorporate the capable disk brakes?:\

Look at the Tekno Revo Conversion.

Ham9561, I am looking at it but as far as I can tell it uses stock motor mounts and sits waaaayyyyy out on the side. I guess the battery waaaaayyyyyy on the otherwise is the balance. It's just not a very clean looking set up. I guess here's where blood, sweat and tears come in. Make it the way I see it in my mind.
