Slash it is now Mod it 4 me

Ok I have determined I am getting a slash and will have one shortly. What are the top performance mods besides motor/batteries I should do on this to optimize performance. Aluminum Shocks? RPM?

its a great stock truck. some of the first thinks to go...shock caps, rear bumper mount

replace when needed only run RPM if you can.

Yeah, shock caps and rear bumper mounts would be great to have. My first run out on the track, I cracked the stock bumper. It wasn't that hard of a landing or anything, and it's not major at least. I'd also recommend RPM A-Arms eventually once the stock ones break.

Ok as it stands I have rpm a arms and steering hubs as well as a few sets of pinion and spur gears on the way. Can someone tell me the best gearing for speed and pick up without loosing to much bottom end on my slash would be.
