Name your favorite form of racing here...any type of racing.

My favorite is the craziest racing on the planet with the absolute most skilled drivers, the largest race courses and the most diverse surface and weather conditions:

WRC drivers have to drive in rain, snow, ice - over dirt, gravel, asphalt, mud - along tree, cliff, stone fence lined roads at dizzying speeds...and these roads are not PRACTICED! If they flat on the road, the DRIVER and/or NAVIGATOR have to change the tire! No friggin pit help until the stage is complete! True test of drivers and machines. No catch fences, gravel safety pits, tire barriers - honest to goodness fearless driving....and spectating.
If you've not seen it...watch just one hour on the Speed Channel, you'll be hooked.

My apologies to all of you NASCAR fans, but puting your foot to the floor and turning LEFT for hours on end is NOT racing!! The ONLY racing in NASCAR (well 98% of it), is done with pit strategies...THAT'S NOT RACING FOLKS!! And...oh no...two rain drops have landed on the track...RED FLAG! We don't want those rednecks on the track 'cause they can't handle the slick conditions!

My fav is the 24 hours of lemans these are real machines these babies go balls to the wall all day and all night. This is the bomb.

I prefere europene auto racing more than american simply becuase they race to win they bash the hell out of their cars adn the germans can build some bad arse machines.

I dont really care for Neckcar it is mainly oval racing. X

Winston Cup.(duh)
NASACAR is awsome because of the competition. If your just a half second slower than the fastest guy, your in the back of the field on race day. Also the tracks are changing constantly throughout the race and the teams are constantly having to make changes to the cars. ANYBODY can win the race.

In F1, Micheal(sp?) is winning every race and there is hardly any competition on the track. What's the point of watching a race if you know who's going to win?

I basically like all racing(except F1). Just as long as it's got an engine and wheels.

NHRA is awsome too

My favorite is 1/8th scale dirt oval. Why? Because its the only kind of racing I can afford to get into

But if money wasn't an issue....
Nascar - defintally a fun race, most cars are fairly equal, lots of racing. Sort tracks are nearly a demolition derby, and the superspeedways really test ones ability to be smooth and near flawless, a nice variety from race to race.

Sprint cars - those just look like they'd be a blast. Less technical than most race forms I can think of, but man it just looks like so much fun. Wheel to wheel, sliding in and out of every corner, racing the whole time.

and finally

NHRA - I wouldn't want to race these, too short of a rce for my taiste, but I think it'd be a blast to drive one at least once, its got to be an unbelievable rush, even if it is over in just a couple seconds.
