Proper needle settings for (?) .18cxp engine

I don't know exactly who made my engine, but there is a logo of what looks like a single dot with 3 consecutive quarter-circles above it. It is an .18 cxp engine that has just finished break in, and seems to run fine, but I know it can do better.

I would tune it with the engine running, but I can't get it to idle long enough to do so. How do I fix this?
 
Have you tried bringing up the idle more? You may need to work the LSN/idle enough to keep it running, then worry about working the HSN and stuff. Of course you'll need to mess with the LSN once you get the HSN set properly.
 
Uhm... this is more than a year old lol. I don't even own that buggy any more, my brother does. The clutch had a broken spring lol
 
lol, my bad, I just looked at the year and month but i could have sworn the post was made in November 07 lol.
