WITH FRAME EXTENSIONS. Examples of non‐permitted chassis are: SWX, J2‐TT, GC‐2,
Edge, Eclipse, Hustler, etc.
• All vehicles must have a chassis and body (or unibody). On full‐tube rigs class‐specific
requirements apply; see class descriptions.
• No "Motor On Axle" (MOA) of any kind. Your axles must be driven by one transmission
or transfer case and a minimum of two drive shafts (except CC‐01, TA*‐02 etc..). No
separate throttle control of drive shafts or axles.
• Multiple axle vehicles are allowed, but must follow all other class rules.
• No batteries or electronics (excluding steering servos) are allowed to be mounted on the

rocks, skulls and bones; Hot Bodies Rovers, Sedonas; Panther Cougars, Leopards;
Jconcepts RocX; Pro‐Line Chisels; RC4WD Rocklins, Crazy crawler, X‐locks; Losi Bashers;
Any buggy tires, truck racing type tire, pin tires.**
If you want to run a tire on this list, you must bring a picture of it mounted on a 1:1 vehicle for it
to be considered.
• Tires sizes are determined by listed manufacturer size or size printed on the sidewall. If
that is not available, then the tire is measured dismounted and laying on its side.
• Wheels may be no larger than 2.2” and both the inner and outer bead must be the same
diameter.
• Each vehicle must have a minimum of 20 “scale” points in order to compete at a
national event.
Class Descriptions
Class 1 ‐*A street legal, daily driver mildly modified for trail use.
1. Tires
1.1 Maximum tire outside diameter of 4.19” as advertised by the manufacturer. Tire diameter
and width must be as designed by the manufacturer and may not be modified.

modifications may be made.
1.3 No competition specific tires allowed (see banned tire list).
1.4 Both front and rear tires must be covered by the body or fender flares with no more than
one quarter inch of the tire tread surface extending beyond the body (as viewed from above)
with measurement taken at the axle center line.**
1.5 Full coverage fender flares, tube fenders, and flat fenders are allowed but must be attached
to the body along the entire wheel well opening.**
1.6 Exo cage tube work does not add to tire coverage.
2.Wheelbase
2.1 No maximum or minimum wheelbase limit. Wheelbase should be within one half inch
(total) of the center line of the factory wheel well openings of body.
3. Chassis
3.1 All Chassis must run the full length of the vehicle, from bumper to bumper.
3.2. Chassis may ONLY be ladder frame, molded tub or uni‐body.
4. Bodies
4.1 No tubers or rear tubed (truggy) bodies allowed.
4.2 Flatbed length must be at least two thirds as long as the wheelbase and must be at least as
wide as the cab at doors all the way to the back.
4.3 No dove‐tailing, pinching, boat‐siding, bed bobbing or other performance modifications
allowed.
4.4 Minor trimming of fender flare or lip is allowed.
4.5 Full width bumpers are required on the front and rear of the vehicle. Bumpers that are
molded into the body qualify. A rear bumper is not required on a flatbed, but adding one to the
flatbed will get the additional scale points.
4.6 All vehicles must have a windshield and it must fill in the entire window frame.
5. Other.
5.1 Vehicles must have the motor, transmission, and electronics covered and hidden when
viewed from the top and sides.
5.2 No dig or rear steer in Class 1.
Class 2 ‐*Performance trail truck, not necessarily street legal.
1. Tires
1.1. Max tire outside diameter 4.75" as indicated by the manufacturer. The tire diameter and

to the discretion of the driver/builder. Stingers, spare tire carriers, winch plates, or other
bumper mounted accessories are not included in the overall chassis length measurement.
3.2. Chassis may ONLY be ladder frame, back‐halved ladder frame, molded tub or uni‐body. No
full round tube chassis in Class 2.
4. Bodies
4.1. Vehicle body from front to rear of driver/passenger doors must be wider than the distance
between the inside of the front tires.
4.2. The vehicle's body must measure no less than four and one half inches vertically from the
top of the roof or roll cage to the lowest part of the side/door/rocker panel. Boat‐sides may be
included in this measurement, but are limited to one inch vertical height from the line where it
meets the body to the point it meets the chassis/frame.
4.3. All the vehicles, at the minimum, must use: production style hood, 50% of the production
style front fenders, 50% of the production grill, roof (or roll cage if an open top), plus two of the
following:
‐*Windshield and frame
‐*Rear quarter panels
‐*Doors/half doors
‐*Rear Bed/cargo area
4.4. Two of the following three body modifications are allowed:
‐Pinched front (must be no less than two thirds the width of the widest part of your cab)
‐Dove‐tail (must appear scale*‐*a truggy/tube bed that is narrower than the cab counts as dove‐
tail).
‐Boat‐sides (see 4.2 above)

as desired. The modified tire diameter measurement will be taken with the tire/wheel laying on
its side, without vehicle weight on it.
1.3 Tire lugs may be removed, siped, grooved or otherwise modified.
1.4 No competition specific tires allowed (see banned tire list). Modified tires must still
resemble a scale tire in design.
2.Wheelbase
2.1 No maximum or minimum wheelbase limit.
3. Chassis

allowed (per course) with the choice being left to driver’s discretion.
5.2.1 The initial use of dig or rear steer will incur a onetime penalty of +5 per course.
5.2.2 If during that same course you engage the other one, there will be a +10 penalty assessed
and your vehicle will be placed back at the last gate cleared on that course. The same penalty
will be assessed each time you use that item.
