Hi ya

I have a thunder tiger ts4n and i beleive the engine size is 12.
The problem i have is that it keeps burning out glow plugs, does any one know why it burns them out in about 15 minuites also incase i am using the wrong heat plug what should i use, i am currently using a medium.

Also does any know why i set my car up to start it and then when it warms up i have to alter the mixture to get it to run properly which means that when it is cold again have a problem starting it and have to alter the mixture again to get it to start.

Hope that all makes sense.

Many thanks

Bert

buy all the types you can get and see what ones work it may cost a bit in the begining but it will repay itself in the end :)

Nitro, drop an OS#8 in there.

It sounds also, that you have yet to get the carb set upo correctly.

Reset the engine to factory specs and try tuning from there.

Burning out a glow plug has a few causes, but mainly it's down to the engine tune. If you run too rich, the compression is high and can cause the oplug to fail.

Without knowing the fuel or how old the engine is, it's hard to accurately advise what to do for the best
