Bought this boat used with the intentions on keeping it for quite some time.
Its in pretty good condition for being used.
Not sure exactly how old it is.
Good solid boat though.

Has cracks here and there.
When i bought it, it had a couple deep scratches that i repaired.
Also a spot on the underside where the gel-coat was chipped off.
All of the areas that were repaired, were repaired with epoxy and sanded smooth.
Nose of the boat has a chip in it that i also repaired.
Boat has the usual cracks down each side of the boat where both halves of the hull join. Nothing out of the ordinary for these hulls.
There is a small chip in the gel-coat right above the rudder bracket.
Its no big deal, it can easily be filled and sanded smoothe.
Stock SV stickers have all been pulled.
Boat has velcro straps for NIMH packs.

No motor or speed control is included.
Stock radio is included with receiver.
Stock servo is included along with 2 k42 props and 1 x45 prop.
Flex cable is also included, was not installed at the time i took the pictures.
Boat has the stock trim tabs.
2 Turn fins are installed and included
Stock silicone water jacket is included
I have moved the antenna to the back of the boat on the transom.
Boat is stuffed with foam noodles
Foam has been added to the underside of then hatch as well.
Hatch is in great shape
Will include a home made PVC boat stand as well

Reason for sale-

Bought this SV for my girlfriend to drive with me and the other SV, she just isnt very interested in r/c boats. So I'm selling this to help fund the other SV so i can speed it up a bit.

$120 shipped
Paypal and Money Orders accepted

Am interested in 150-200amp watercooled esc's for trade.
Specifically interested in the Turnigy 180a watercooled esc.
Will entertain offers.

I forgot to mention this.

I've got 2 6 cell 4200 IB packs i can include also if needed.
1 of the packs has a dead cell, i am including an extra cell as a replacement for the dead cell.

sorry if i am taking your thread off topic, but i wanted some help on building a brushless boat, i have a kyosho viper gt, i bought a brushless water cooled esc, but have not bought a motor or the water cooled part that fits over the motor, my question is why are all the marine motors low kv?

low kv because of all the amps needed to push a boat around.

Send me a pm if you need some help.
Been into boats for years now.
Fairly new to the Brushless scene but i know a few things.

I'll take best offer.

$140 with stock ESC

I have a dual fan cooled ESC and 60,000 RPM water cooled motor looking for a V hull. I'm not sure if that boat could handle it. I need some more info on the damage, particularly what's on the nose and stern.

I don't need the ESC or batts, stand, radio, motor or receiver. I only need the hull and hardware.

Give me a good price and I'll get back to you.

Any info on this ESC?

The nose, a piece of the gelcoat flaked off.
wasn't wrecked.

The stern, there is a piece of gelcoat that flaked off right above the rudder bracket.
I'll have to get some better pictures of each area. I can't even explain the size of the gel coat chip on the stern.

I'll have some pictures up tomorrow afternoon after i return home from my 8 hour road trip.

I tried taking some pictures, I'm having to use my girlfriends camera, all of the close ups i tried of the areas you mentioned came out too blurry.

I would have terrific pictures but my digital camera died a terrible death during an in-car video of me making a pass in my drag car one weekend.

I'm not too interested in the motor and esc you've offered.
Just not something i could use.

No, no. You're looking at over $300 worth of electric that's looking for a V hull. I have no intention of trading it. I asked about a price for the hull and the hardware that's on it now. I have no interest in all the other accessories.

Oh alright, miss understanding.

I'll take $100 for the Hull and the Hardware.

Are you wanting the radio box and the motor mount also?
No servo or radio.

I really needed to get a good look at any damage to the hull.
With the power and speed I plan to put in it, I can't take the risk of the hull coming apart,
so it would need a full epoxy coat or fiberglassing.

If you still have it in a few weeks, we'll talk about price again.

Thanks

Well..

I'm not sure how fast your planning on making it go but I've seen supervees in very similiar shape go mid 50's.

I dont recommend pushing the SV past the 50's as it is a very unstable boat at higher speeds.
Seems like it doesn't matter what is done, the hull is bad news for high speeds.
I've seen several set ups and all of them were identical as far as handling goes.

I pretty much thought it would lose stability due to it's size. I think I need to find one with a much sharper, deeper V, and more length.
Thanks for the effort. Best of luck with the sale.

No problem

Save you some headache for sure.

You really should look into picking up a Shockwave 36 hull.
Quite a bit larger, stronger without a doubt, more scale looking for its size and these candle handle speed.

I'll definitely look into that.
I've had that setup, above, for over a year, and because of this thread, I wired the fans, programmed the ESC and ran the motor for the FIRST time.
It is ABSOLUTELY going to give me some MONSTER speed and power.
