After unearthing my old RC cars as my sons have gotten into the hobby, I've decided to convert my Tmaxx to electric as I really don't feel like dealing with Nitro anymore. I've already done the forward only and single speed conversions, and installed the Torque Control upgrade. All I really have left to do is install a motor and ESC once my motor mount arrives. I'm looking for something that's on the more affordable side as this is only a basher, but also don't want to buy junk. Any recommendations would be helpful.

There's lots of used motor and ESC combos for sale on FB marketplace, but I'm not really sure what I should be looking for.

Thanks in advance!

I used a Spektrum 150A ESC / 2050kv Motor from Jenny's RC.

Also, the motor fits without an issue? Looks pretty tight against the transmission. I was wondering if it makes sense to get the 2050 motor with the heat sink and fan, but it looks like it might not fit.

Also, what size pinion gear at you running?

Don't remember on the pinion size, but yeah it's a tight fit on the original SWB chassis. It had plenty of power on 4S.

I no longer have it, sold it, but kept my E-Maxx.
