Please help. I am looking at buying a 1/10 Nitro RTR.

I am not yet ready for the Evolva, or xray type cars.

Just want to know the best recommendations for a 1/10 Nitro RTR.
Which top 3 have the most tuneable chassis, most durability, and best out of the box motor? Also which will more easily accept an engine upgrade?

Thanks for all the help.

Jim:)

The associated NTC3 has a good reputation and I've read that the Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk is a pretty durable RTR on-road.

Thanks for the suggestions. Has anyone heard anything about the Team Magic G4S RTR or the Ofna CD3?

I heard that the Ofna is very durable and can be modified, and that the Team Magic is the best of these RTR's.

Kyosho FW06 is a pretty good car... currently I'm running a FW05 and a V-One RRR WC Edition. I can get parts in almost every shop I walk into.

be sure what ever car you get the parts are just as easy to come by.

I know that the RRR is out of my league, I was looking for a reaonable RTR that has good upgrading capability, when and if I'm ready I would go RRR.

Is the FW05 in the RRR category or is it more like the Team magic G4S?

Thanks for the help

I'm happy with my Hpi RS4 Evo 3...those things are durable and have a good Reputation

I am not sure where you are but here are a few sites I would recommend

RC Mart
http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/

RC mushroom
http://www.rc-mushroom.com/

RC champ
http://www.rc-champ.co.jp/Champ_International/International_index.htm

RC champ I have found to be the cheapest however you need to email them the exact part numbers you are after to get a price quote. They have a a good selection of brand names well worth the research.

If you are in Victoria - Australia I would also recommend Radical RC as both Peter & Steven Jovanovic compete at the top end international level in both 1:10 & 1:8

regarding tyres Kyosho Redbox I believe are best however pricey! the next best (person view) are Cosmic tyres.
