New toys from Snap-on. Got flush cuts and a rebuild kit for one of my ratchets. Also my Snap-on guy let me know he's retiring which really sucks, but I understand. :(
Got a Snap-on Teal Swivel Ratchet Set ; 1/4" Hex, 1/4", 3/8" and a longer and larger 3/8". I got the swivel heads because the have so many uses, can get into tight and awkward spaces yet you can still use it as a regular ratchet. There's no 1/2" however I can just use an adapter on the 3/8". I...
Got my radio case today, and I really like it a lot. It's a tad bigger than expected, but my radio fits perfectly and even has a black strap on top to put some stuff on the top. There's even a nice large pocket on the outside up front to put in other things. The foam blocks are velcro and can be...
Today I had to scramble and order new shock caps for my 1RC. I'm in the middle of rebuilding the shocks. They're just a friction shock with an o ring on top of the shaft and you coat the o ring with some o ring grease. I personally use Team Associated's Green Slime. Anyways, the shock caps I...
My LHS was showing off these little dusters. They can be recharged like a cell phone does. Been looking for something like this and today I decided to pick one up. I even made a black grip with some matte vinyl. I'm gonna put some snap on stickers on it when they come in the mail.
Bought 3 rolls of vinyl, parts for my 1RC Asphalt Modified, and waterslide decals for the little sponsor logos. The waterslide decals are 1:24 but I think they'll look fine on a 1:18 scale. I wanted to get printed decals, but 1:18 was too small. I bought 3 sheets in case I screw up, especially...
Got some new tires for my 1RC Asphalt Modified. The tires have little pins on the tread so I can actually have grip on carpet and actually drive it. Gonna start racing this at my LHS on Tuesdays.
Got some 3d printed goodies. The parts in the middle and the right is used with the hudy set up station i got last week. They are dummy rear wheels to keep the chassis level on the set up station. The little blocks can be used to put underneath the actual rear tires in a pinch, but the dummy...
More toys in the mail. The shim kit are ride height adjusters for the front end of pan cars. The color coding is nice. The car cover is for transport and storage and keep dust off of my pan cars, and the hudy set up station for pan cars soo I dont have to run around setting up the front end with...
I finally decided to pull the trigger on this. I've been wanting/needing this controller for multiple months now. It's a Futaba 4PM Plus. I also got a RPM bearing blaster I needed that I found in the discount bin at my LHS. Can't beat that.
I bought these as I will be purchasing my first big boy Snap-on toolbox for my bedroom in a few months. They are anodized aluminum covers for the bolts on the caster wheels. I got a better box to store them in the meantime.
got another snap on goodie looks like it can hold any 1/4" bit and the reversible phillips/slotted tip is nice :):thumbs-up: Been busy lately but I have a new build coming up, the first batch of parts should come in next week or so, I plan on making a build thread for it
