I have a Merv and I just got some new shock bodies. I want to fill them with harder shock oil but I’m not sure which thickness to use. I know a lot of people use 90wt, but I think that’s probably to thick for me as I drive off road and I don’t really jump much. I’m thinking 50-60wt.
I've been reading up on this and since there were no threads under suspension (sorry if it's covered elsewhere) thought this would be a good place to start since it can make a massive difference to how the car drives.
I understand the the softer it is the quicker it'll turn in however this also...

What is the prefered weight shock oil for backyard bashing?:)
And am I right in thinking the heavier the weight shock oil the slower the shock moves back out and the slower that it compresses?
Also has anybody tried shock oil used for mototcycles?
Thanks,
