i have a k4.6 hpi savage engine and every time i finish racing and then i go pull my starter the rope come out.

is it because the rope is oil ey and keep slipping

or is it my one way bearing which is brand new and perfectly fine?

shall i go back to roto start but i love pullstart because you dont have to carry a heavy roto start.

plz help dom

when i pull it the whole rope comes out but everything else is ok

rear exhaust seal could be leaking and seeping into your pull start assembly.

Perhaps your recoil spring is slipping. Have you ever taken the pull-start assembly off? If you have, it's possible the recoil has unraveled a touch and can't put adequate tension on the pulley.

Can you re-wind it by rotating the flywheel? Maybe it is rubbing on something and not releasing...

ye if i spin the flywheel the pullstart does return but when i pull the starter the rope does not return and its a pain when youn trying to race

i have finally got some money for a new pulstart

with all the fuss of fixing it i just bought a new 1 and kept the old re built 1 as spair
