running a tmaxx as a 2 wheel drive

maxx shafts

here are the 2 rear drive shafts off my maxx and yes the universal is straight the shaft is twisted that far it bent it into a U shape
its is going back to 4wd this weekend alot easier on the drivetrain also never had a problem till i went 2wd because i dodnt have the cash to do a good rebuild on my diff

yes when i had the old t-maxx i put a homemade sway on it and took out the rear driveshafts...you wouldnt even turn on a dime more like a (0) it really improved it a lot for tight high speed cornering, even tho you dont get the 4-wheel for traction ne more you can reverse the front tread so you have the v pattern acting as a scoop and it managed to do pretty good..just my 2 cents
 
is it difficult to take out and put back in the front diff?
 
Not really difficult, just annoying.

You have to remove the axles/yokes off the shafts from the wheels and from the center axle so it isn't flopping around.
