I have a roto start from hpi that I am thinking about putting on my buggy. The motor is a force .26, this motor is suppose to be the best for adapting the roto start to it. All I hear about is burned up one ways though so I am leary at trying it. I am wondering if using my cordless drill would be better? I would think that being able to ease into the start would be easier on the one way. I really want to use the roto start, I am not crazy about lugging a starter box around, but I dont want to pay 23 dollars for a new one way every week. Anyone that has the roto start in use think that maybe a softer start would be easier on the bearing?
