question about the team losi HD center skid

the team Losi HD center skid comes with that protective plate for the pipe, since I am doing an BL conversion think I should get one and just cut it off? or just use a stock skid?

If you have the tools to cut it off then go for it. The HD center skid also extends under the tranny gears for added protection.

If you dont already have the HD skid then Id say just order a normal one....if you already have it you could cut it off or just order a noraml one and tuck that one away for a rainy day? Who knows maybe you'll switch back one of these days
