So I'm making a boot drive of OSX Mavericks before I upgrade to Yosemite, so I can revert back if needs be, and I'm using the third party app Diskmaker X. My computer has been sat at this stage for a while now and is doing nothing, and I was just wondering if it was now finished or not, since the steps I found that should appear on screen are different to whats happened?

I personally make an image of the whole drive and put it on an external drive anytime I'm doing a major upgrade. I don't have any experience with that product, sorry.
