I build a custom onroad inferno. One thin is for sure - it will be great. And as usual it shall be electric.
I have bought a defect MP7.5 only for the parts.

This shall not be a MP7.5, Not a GT2 - It shall be a custom inferno onroad model.

Tomorrow DHL shall deliver my Kyosho MP7.5 that I only bought for the parts.
Then I can begin. I have bought some onroad parts for the suspention.

I shall use this bodyshell on my car. It is a Ford Escort
The body is made in think ABS plastic and cost only 17 euro. Wheelbase 305mm

This looks a lot better than Mercedes GT.

If I put much work in it my car can be as good as this. And I can 3D print some additional custom parts

Congrats. Nice looking ride. Whatever you do, don't buy clear pvc bodies. They chip easy. Love the look. Reminds me of the old Datsuns.

This body is not clear. It is white plastic.

"Made from thick Super High Impact White ABS Plastic."

That's a good price, like $18 here. When I started clear lexan bodies were $20-27 USD.
Is white ABS plastic good?

I save a lot of money buying this body. And I do not need a GT2 chassis. (305mm wheelbase)

That is what Tamiya uses I believe. Should be. Most rc bodies are lexan, styrene, or abs. Almost of scale builder use abs and styrene too. The pvc ferrari I had chipped doing the razor blade score method- anything os better than that!

If I'm not mistaken styrene is abs that is modified with other ingredients.

Good to hear. No woories. I am just wondering how the shop can sell it so cheap.

My car becomes a hybrid of GT2 and MP7.5.

I I can call it Kyosho Escort GT 7.5

I like the looks of this.

ABS is basically a styrene plastic and is what is used in most scale models and rock crawlers. It's a great workable plastic that you can easily sand, form with heat, and melt with acetone or other plastic modeling type glues. It will not be able to withstand as much abuse as a lexan body before cracking, but it is easily repairable if it does crack. I love that body. Can't wait to see the build.

I have bought a defect Inferno Mp7.5.
It was a dirty wreck when I got it But Ihave fixed up the parts i shall keep.
I have opened differentials and added new oil and i have given it a huge service.
Many parts in a used car.

Now I wait for onroad Shock towers and shocks The the Mail.

Good find and good subject for a RC model build. Ford Escort is my favorite small car body. Actually owned and drove the 1:1 American version back early-mid '80s. Anxious to see your completed model.

I have these onroad wheels. The car shall be silver and then I think it will look great with black rims.
I shall paint the rims manually with Humbrol oil paint. The tires are glued so I can not spary the rims. And I want oil paint.

Good that I did not buy this body shell - my car is 6 cm wider than the body. Back to last project -GT2
