Hello, i want to buy new 1/8 buggy. Kyosho Inferno MP10e TKI2, i saw the new buggies Using 2s shorty packs.

i understand how to charge these batteries i found this

https://www.amainhobbies.com/protek...t-connectors-to-female-xt90-ptk-5365/p1483930

but i still didnt understand how to connect the 2 batteries together and to the esc.

i want to put castle creations mamba monster x ESC.

if i am understand correctly i should buy
one of these wires

https://www.amainhobbies.com/castle...-red-36-8awg-cse011-0028-00/p1450862?v=675178

and buy these bullet connectors

https://www.amainhobbies.com/protek...solid-gold-connectors-4-male-ptk-5022/p244690

and solder them together and it will be connection number 1
is it correct?

how should i connect connections 2 and 3 from the battery to the esc?

i added picture that will be easier to understand about the conections.

Connection 1 = Postive terminal from lower battery to Negative terminal from upper battery
Connection 2 = Positive terminal to Positive terminal on ESC
Connection 3 = Negative terminal to Negative terminal on ESC

All connections use bullets, depending on the brand of battery could be 4mm or 5mm where most modern brands use 5mm bullets today

8AWG is overkill, most ESC's come with 10AWG, typically you do not need to provide your own wiring

VERY IMPORTANT to read following article:
https://www.smc-racing.net/index.php?route=product/category&path=166

do i need to solder from the esc connections 2 bullet females to connect the the cables from the batteries 2 5mm bullet males connections?

the only female bullet connectors in the circuit are located inside the shorty packs, you will be soldering a total of 4 male bullet connecters, 2 on the ESC leads and 2 on the pigtail between the packs

thnx, last question. as you can see in the picture the cables of the esc is too short and will not reach to the battery leads, do i need to cut down the connections and and solder 2 male bullets into the esc?

the packs are oriented wrong, always place the female bullet connectors toward the rear of the car which will minimize the length of wiring ;)

I personally never liked bullets from esc to batteries (asking for a reverse).I've always liked a battery plug that will only go to esc 1 way..and why have batts in that position in buggy? 5mm facing forward? you will find that not markng batts the one on negative side(closest to esc) of esc will use more mah than other and go bad 1st. as in lose punch mah so on
