That sucks they discontinued the stadium truck platform
Yep. And TLR parts support too. For the racers, its pretty bad, from what I seen

They discontinued their 2WD Stadium Truck, 2WD Short Course, and 4WD Short Course.
They only have Buggies now which for 2WD is the 22 5.0 and for 4WD the 22x4

2WD: 22 5.0 AC, DC Roller and Elite
4WD 22x4, and 22x4 Elite

Cool video, but after spending the time to do all that you still have a truck with no factory support. I can't seem to justify putting that much into my 22T 4.0. I'll probably leave it the way it is or buy a AE or XRAY

I have a TLR 2wd short course truck that is now a shelf queen. I can't get parts for it. I race my modified Slash 2wd instead. (Faster truck outdoors. Go figure. 😜) TLR can go fvck themselves.

Yea, its pretty sad. Hopefully they can make a come back someday.

How modified is your slash? Here is mine. Mostly for mixed bashing and indoor dirt tracks. Hopefully I can get some dirt tires and make it up to the local outdoor dirt track soon. Wanting to make it better. Used to do this on carpet tracks. Local one closed down. For the indoor dirt track I want to make it turn faster. Maybe its too grippy.

@MaX-D has a build thread on Traxxas Forums. Good to see him over here.

Yeah, sad to see what has become of the Traxxas forums. If you're planning on staying, you should consider moving over your build threads.
How would I move an entire thread with pictures over here? I have no idea.

I left a link a couple of posts up with my Slash Build Thread.

Copy and paste?

Looks like a very much clean build.

Was thinking about getting a more race grade esc/motor combo. But I track bash, club race, and bash all together so i think my current setup is good for now. Which is a max10 sct 4000kv combo.
Your 4000kv combo is perfect. I swiped the esc and Reedy 8.5t out of my TLR truck since I won't be using it anymore. Hey TLR......SUCK IT! But I'm not bitter. 🤣 🤣🤣

2s only, 23/86 gearing. Super fast. Lots of torque.

I have the same combo in my rustler 2wd, but in the 60A and 3652 combo, same lipo, same gearing. Same kv. It just doesn't feel the same like torque and punch wise compared to the 3660 and 120A combo.

My uncle used to run 4x4 SCT on carpet way back when, when he was actually into RC. He still has 3 of his Novak 4.5T 550 motors sitting in his shed. Wanting to steal one and put it in my slash. But I feel like those would be just ballistic (name of the motor) power 🤣 🤪

Nice truck. The Smithsonian would want that. 🤣 The TLR shocks from 2wd are on my racing Rustler.
